Demolition and planting yielded Buried Treasure: rotted decking hiding a concrete patio, tons of native stone, and miles of broken sprinkler hoses. These "found" materials didn't go into the landfill but became a delightful reuse challenge to this garden designer and source of Serenity for its owner. |
 Butterfly Welcome Garden B E F O R E Garden Owner Donna says: As a landscape designer, Alice's art and architectural skills are evident in her beautiful, creative, and personalized garden planning. She was masterful in using challenging design elements of my home's unique lot, such as incorporating native stones into edgings, retaining walls, stepstone, and benches. She selected plants for shade and deer resistance. A formerly hidden patio was incorporated into a redesigned hardscape living space. Also, Alice personalized her design by integrating my interests in recycling and butterfly metaphors into garden areas with these themes. |
