A meandering hardscape path becomes a gracious organizing element and provides ease of maintenance. Circular patio seating & steel-column arc create a focal point visible from all areas. Colorful plant materials— Witch Hazels, Japanese Maples, Hydrangeas, ferns, and Veronica—provide contrast and texture. The salvaged galvanized trough is a terrific home for this owner's much-loved Hostas. |

Boulders edge a new raised planting bed with a Japanese Maple, Abelia 'Kaleidoscope,' Daphne, & Thyme to create a beautifully scented and welcoming entrance. |
